Reader Takeaways
The text offers a path to spiritual happiness by following the guidance of a Sadguru.
It explains how karmic burdens can be overcome through the grace of the Sadguru.
It emphasizes the importance of self-surrender and acting according to the divine will.
The person who moulds his life according to the wish of the Guru is the disciple of the Sadguru, his friend or relative, that is, the Sadguru helps him in the same way as someone helps his friend or relative. But the one who lives his life as per his own wish remains separated from God and suffers sorrow.
Sadguru is the physical form of Hari, hence the one who is a slave of Sadguru is also a slave of Hari. Hari's servants always remain happy. There are three reasons for their always being happy. First, the Sadguru destroys the storehouse of karma accumulated over many births. The second reason given for the eternal happiness of Hari-Guru's servants is that the Sadguru removes from their destiny those deeds which were to result in suffering. The third form of karma consists of those actions whose seeds are still being sown. By the mercy of the Sadguru, all the deeds being done by the disciple are nullified from the power of giving results in the future.
The method by which the Sadguru accomplishes this task is that the Sadguru brings the servant into his fold. The servant comes to know that he is just an instrument, the doer is the Master. The source of all his actions shifts from his own desires to the will of God. Due to this, his actions become devoid of the power of bondage. Excerpted from ‘Ajuni Saibhan’ Part 8.
