We are all bounded by Karma. But what about God? God retains his true nature despite assuming a human form. How do you see God's incarnation differently from ordinary beings? Comment down your thoughts...
The first great difference between the adoption of a human body by the Supreme Soul and by ordinary living beings is that due to ignorance, living beings are bound by the bonds of nature and are forced to take birth. They are not masters of their actions. On the other hand, there is no such ignorance and resultant helplessness in God. The Lord controls nature and assumes the body by His free will. The birth of living beings is determined by the forces of nature. Living beings are subject to the law of karma. God is free from the bondage of karma and is its Master. God's adoption of a human body means that perfection has assumed imperfection; glory has assumed smallness; power has assumed weakness but the being who possesses it has the knowledge of its own completeness, glory and power. This is the first formula to balance these two seemingly contradictory principles - the Supreme Being coming into the world of living beings by assuming a body and despite doing so maintaining His sublime state beyond birth and death. Excerpted from ‘Ajuni Saibhan’ Part 3.
