There is a duality between God and the world. This duality is noumenal and phenomenal. ‘Ajuni’ and ‘Saibham’ – these two words resolve this duality very efficiently. ‘God is beyond Maya yet He is born in the world and He appears from Himself by His own free will.' God is eternal, the world is in time. Eternity is creating time. God creates the world, sees it, knows it, but the world does not know Him as if it is sleeping in a deep sleep of ignorance. How to fill this gap? Certainly only God can do this work, not the living beings of the world themselves can do it. In the ancient tradition, such as the Bhagavad Gita, this gap between the eternal and the historical was filled by the incarnation. The same work has been done by the Guru in the Adi Granth. The incarnation of God is called Guru and he saves living beings through grace.
